Guelph Grad Suruthika Awarded Prestigious TDIMM Fellowship

The University of Guelph (U of G) is proud to celebrate Suruthika Senthilkumaran, a soon-to-be Bachelor of Science graduate in Biomedical Sciences, who has been awarded the highly competitive and prestigious TD Insurance Meloche Monnex (TDIMM) Fellowship in Advancement.

Suruthika began her fellowship in April and has already jumped into meaningful work with the U of G’s Alumni Affairs and Development team. She is helping enhance the Alumni Awards of Excellence program, which celebrates the achievements of fellow Guelph grads. Later, she’ll turn her attention to the university’s work to recognize and thank those who leave a lasting impact through legacy gifts. As part of her experience, Suruthika will also attend national conferences to learn from experts in alumni engagement and charitable giving.

This national fellowship is made possible through the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) in partnership with TD Insurance Meloche Monnex. The TDIMM Fellowships make an impact each year to CCAE member institutions across Canada. Here at U of G, the fellowship will directly support our efforts to engage alumni and celebrate their achievements, as Suruthika will be contributing to key initiatives within our department this year.

Suruthika reflects on this achievement:

“I am incredibly honoured and excited to be named the 2025 TDIMM Fellow. This fellowship will allow me to continue pursuing my passion for educational advancement and will shape my future. I’m excited about what’s to come and how I can contribute to the University of Guelph’s mission to Improve Life.”

We’re excited to have Suruthika supporting Alumni Affairs & Development this year as she gains invaluable experience contributing to our alumni community’s engagement and future.

Congratulations, Suruthika! Your achievement will help us create more meaningful opportunities for Guelph grads to grow and lead.
